The μCOLLECTS FOUNDATION
The μCOLLECTS foundation provides assistance and opportunities for stray cats and dogs. μCOLLECTS foundation has been committed to providing food, medical care, sterilization and adoption services for stray cats and dogs. In addition to actively rescuing injured cats and dogs wandering the streets, μCOLLECTS foundation also takes in abandoned small animals and works hard to find trustworthy owners.
Stray cats and dogs long for a place where they are safe, cared for, and loved. We dedicate a portion of our profits to providing food and support for dogs in rescue centers. We also strongly advocate for "adoption, not purchase" as the best way to give these animals a chance at a new, loving home.
In many Asian cities, most stray cats seen on the streets were once domesticated pets. As pet ownership rises, so does the unfortunate increase in abandoned animals. Having lived indoors, many domestic cats lose their ability to survive independently in the wild. Uncontrolled reproduction further exacerbates the issue, leading to an ever-growing population of stray cats. To combat this, we are committed to offering free spay and neuter services for rescued animals and stray cats, ensuring a more humane and sustainable solution to their plight.
Stray dogs are often found in residential corridors, construction sites, parks, or roadside flower beds. When encountering these vulnerable creatures, they may cautiously follow you, hoping to attract attention, or scurry away in fear. Some have experienced trauma and may appear defensive, but their actions stem from fear and desperation. A stray dog's "viciousness" can often mask its yearning for safety, and you might see it inching closer to the food you've left behind.
